Director of Sales & Marketing
We are looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to spearhead our next phase of growth. The desired candidate will lead and manage all sales and marketing activities.
Applicants should have an in-depth understanding of and ability to conceptualize marketing campaigns to drive and accelerate sales. As a small agency we need someone that is inventive, entrepreneurial and excited about strengthening and cultivating relationships to create the awareness and adoption of the company’s services. This role is key to maintaining a strong sales lead pipeline and building a consistent and effective perception of our brand. The candidate must be a strong leader with solid communications skills, organized and detail oriented with a proven track record of success.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will:
- Participate with the team in the development of the Strategic Plan
- Provide leadership for day-to-day operations of the department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals
- Analyze markets to determine business development opportunities
- Cultivate new client relationships and strengthen existing ones
- Attend industry and target market events to help create awareness for our service offering
- Keep abreast of industry dynamics, trends, and opportunities and be proactive about seeking out industry news and changes
- Establish performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitor performance on a continual basis
Qualifications:
- 3 plus years in a sales or marketing role with leadership responsibilities
- Strong inbound marketing skills
- Fluent in social networking with mature, solid judgment
- Great quantitative and analytical skills as well as strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience managing mixed talent pool of in-house, virtual, outsourced and freelance resources
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc)
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills within a team environment
- Strong analytic ability with demonstrated experience analyzing data
