Dr. Mecellem is Research and Narrative Strategist at The Wakeman Agency. She draws on over a decade of narrative research and writing for social justice causes in nonprofit and corporate contexts, international relations and academia. Trained as a political scientist, Jessica draws on a range of experiences and practices in the United States, Europe, South West Asia and North Africa. Her published work and ongoing writing are focused on analyzing macro and micro-level narratives for social sector causes.
