Interledger Foundation

#TeamWakeman is working with Interledger Foundation to build awareness for the organization’s vision to build a currency agnostic payment structure on the internet. This groundbreaking initiative will increase opportunities for financial inclusion for the unbanked and underbanked in the United States and globally. Our efforts are focused on building thought leadership, messaging, media relations, and digital strategy. As part of the organization’s Grant for the Web program which provides funding for individuals and organizations, we are also building a proof of concept for a program that would fund financial inclusion fintech projects designed by students at HBCUs and HSIs.

Choose Healthy Life

To further build momentum on Black church-based covid-19 outreach, The Wakeman Agency is providing public relations support to the Choose Healthy Life initiative. Our communications activities will be focused on increasing vaccination numbers in Black and brown communities through messaging, media relations, influencer engagement, and social media. 

Scratch Foundation

As the world’s largest and most diverse coding community for children, Scratch Foundation retained The Wakeman Agency to produce its virtual fundraising event.  This global celebration for its community of more than 78 million registered users will highlight the organization’s efforts to create equity and inclusivity by making coding accessible. Part of our efforts will include developing a rich, interactive experience for guests that highlights the Foundation’s work and maximizing fundraising opportunities.

 

Echoing Green

As an organization working at the intersection of social justice and innovation for more than three decades, Echoing Green has supported hundreds of social entrepreneurs from around the globe. Over the next several months, Wakeman will work closely with the Echoing Green team to amplify its thought leadership through strategic communications, messaging and narrative development, and media relations.
