Katie Cray is the Executive Assistant to Vanessa Wakeman. She manages the daily operations of the Executive Office, and handles a wide range of administrative and executive support responsibilities. Katie serves as a point of contact for clients, partners and media.

Mason Burnham is a Senior Publicist and comes to The Wakeman Agency with 20 years experience in marketing communications, public relations and journalism. She excels in developing and executing successful PR programs for a wide range of clients. Soo Dawson is a dedicated marketing and sales professional with experience in event planning, online marketing, copy writing, and public relations. She manages The Wakeman Agency's internal and external marketing promotions to meet the ever-evolving needs of the nonprofit and small business communities.

Katherine serves as an Event Planner at The Wakeman Agency. She began her career in the events industry working as part of the planning team for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk, The World’s Largest Slumber Party to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Suave “Can You Tell Salons” to benefit Gilda’s Club Worldwide and The Avon Walks for Breast Cancer. She went on to direct events for TJX Companies, producing national fashion shows, mobile tours, parades and press events for TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Read more »

Tara Fee is the Public Relations Intern. She helps with the public relation campaigns and client events. She enjoys working with agency’s variety of non-profit organizations.
She is currently a senior at Iona College majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. She wants to gain as much knowledge and hands-on experience during her time with The Wakeman Agency.

Shianne Chatarjee works as the Development Intern at The Wakeman Agency. She has a passion for event planning and marketing and uses it to support client events and expand the agency's social media campaigns.
She is a recent graduate from the University of Rochester with a degree in Economics and Business Strategies. During her four years there, she enjoyed working at the Office of Alumni Relations in development and event planning. She hopes to gain more hands-on experience in development through working with The Wakeman Agency and its clients.
